Who We Share Your Data With

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you add a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This data is stored in order to automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. If personal data is processed based on your consent, it will generally be processed for a period of 7 years, or until such consent is withdrawn. If you subscribe to our commercial communications, we will process your personal data for 7 years or until you express your objection to receiving further communications. You can easily do so by using our contact form.

Please note that personal data necessary for the proper provision of services or the fulfillment of our obligations—whether those obligations arise from a contract between us or from generally binding legal regulations—must be processed regardless of any granted consent, for the period prescribed by the applicable legal regulations or in accordance with them (for example, with regard to tax documents, the minimum retention period is 10 years).

Data obtained via a user account or in a similar manner is processed for the duration of your use of our services and generally for 5 years following the termination of such use.

Security of Personal Data

We protect your personal data with the utmost care. To prevent unauthorized access or misuse, we have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures. Safeguarding your data is our priority; therefore, we regularly review our security measures and continuously improve them. All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted. We use security features consistent with current technological standards and ensure they are regularly updated.
